Progress update 10/3
Hey everyone, just a quick update on whats been going on with CoI – I’ve been working with any bit of free time I can get drawing and programming new enemies and getting them as bug free as possible. I have programmed an ‘arena’ so to speak in the game, so that my group of testers can spawn enemies at will and test them for difficulty, bugs, etc so I can do all my tweaking in one location before spreading the enemies game-wide!
I have 9 enemies working now, with minimal issues so far. My goal is to have at LEAST 50-60 unique enemy sprites, with perhaps a few sets of palette swaps for tougher versions of the monsters. So far everything else has been going great but a bit slow! (stupid visit to the hospital didn’t help any… but I’m better now!)
